The Finishing Touch personal hair remover was originally an As-Seen-On-TV product from Wayne, NJ-based IdeaVillage Products Corp. In June 2017 IdeaVillage launched the modern Flawless facial hair remover device, which became the #1 selling item on Amazon four weeks after launch and the #1 women's electric hair removal brand in the world within 18 months. Church & Dwight acquired the Flawless and Finishing Touch brands from IdeaVillage in 2019 for up to $900 million.
