Ostrich Oil

Malaja began in 2002 as a small family business when the owners ran their own ostrich farm and looked for a use for the surplus ostrich oil that would otherwise be discarded; they turned it into a skincare and haircare line.

Ostrich Oil (by Malaja) positions itself around minimally processed, natural skincare made from African ostrich oil. The brand grew out of the founders' own ostrich farm as a way to use surplus oil, and centres on that single natural raw material for dry and hard skin.
