Mitä sertifiointi tarkoittaa
EWG VERIFIED on yhdysvaltalaisen voittoa tavoittelemattoman Environmental Working Groupin vuonna 2015 lanseeraama merkki. Tuotteiden on vältettävä EWG:n kiellettyjen aineiden listalla olevia ainesosia, täytettävä järjestön standardit ainesosien ja tuoksujen ilmoittamisesta sekä noudatettava hyviä valmistustapoja. Merkki heijastaa EWG:n omaa vaarojen arviointikehystä, joka on joidenkin ainesosien osalta tiukempi kuin viranomaisten säädökset.
