Mitä sertifiointi tarkoittaa

The Vegan Trademark on brittiläisen, vuonna 1944 perustetun hyväntekeväisyysjärjestö The Vegan Societyn rekisteröimä tavaramerkki, jota on myönnetty tuotteille vuodesta 1990 lähtien. Sitä kantavat tuotteet eivät sisällä eläinperäisiä ainesosia tai eläinperäisiä prosessointiapuaineita, eikä yritys tai kukaan sen puolesta ole testannut niitä eläimillä. Rekisteröinti on tuotekohtainen, joten brändin tuotteista vain osa voi kantaa merkkiä.
